Grades K – 6th  8:00 A.M. - 3:24 P.M. (Mon – Friday) There are monthly early release dates which are posted on the school calendar below.  There are 2 sections of 4 year old kindergarten starting at 8:00 am and the other starting at 11:30 am.

All school staff members are on duty at 7:50 A.M. at which time in-school supervision commences.  Therefore, in the interest of safety and orderliness, students who walk or are privately transported to school should not arrive at school prior to 7:45 A.M. at which time supervisors are on duty and students may enter their respective school building.  Classes commence promptly at 8:00 A.M.

At dismissal time, bus students will board their buses and all students are expected to leave for home unless they are under the supervision of a school staff member.  At the end of the day, if you choose to come into the building to pick your child up, we request that you wait for your child in the hallway outside the office, rather than outside the classroom, so that we can minimize the congestion in the hallways.

FOREST LANE EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE
We believe all kids can learn and we will establish high standards of learning that we expect all students to achieve. It is our job to create an environment in our classrooms that engages students in academic work that results in a high level of achievement. We are confident, that with our support and help, students can achieve individual growth, and we expect them to do so. We are prepared to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents to achieve this shared educational purpose.
